Due to popular demand, we are running a second session on Developing an effective EALD program at your school.

This will be held on Wednesday 2 December at EDC, from 4:30 – 5:30pm.

At this FREE SATESOL event, EALD practitioner Gloria Capolongo will share her experience in how to create an EALD program at your setting. The session will cover monitoring and recording data, formative assessment, goal setting, and issues around accountability. Gloria will take you step by step through an exemplar program, giving well established practical guidance on how to meet the needs of EALD students as well as departmental recording requirements.

This session is designed for EALD teachers and leaders in primary school settings, including pre-service teachers. Secondary teachers, and teachers working in non-government schools will also gain new insight that can be adapted to suit their contexts.
